BioThis is where I try to do the grownup thing. This is where I swear that I am done wasting my time with West End people. This is where I promise I will not go to a stage door ever again just to tell some stranger who is probably 10 years younger than me and does the one thing I would like to do in my life that they impressed me, because they don't care.
This is where I try to do the grownup thing. This is where I learn what job interviews and job agencies are like. This is where I dress up and wear makeup and sensible shoes and meet with people who give me 5 minutes of their time and haven't even read my CV and sound faker than the fakest of West End people.
This is where I try to do the grownup thing and get myself overworked, underpaid and with no time for my family and I can't organise a holiday because I am constantly needed in my store. This is where we can't move houses or go on a holiday because we are homebound by the fact my wife owns a dog. This is where I phone estate agencies to inquire about flats and get nothing but rudeness spat back at me for the simple reason she has a dog.
This is where I want to go back to when I was in school and all I had to do was learn, and where I wish that I could just keep going to school forever and that I didn't have to worry about the grownup things.
